This piece was designed as a commission for a client who wanted sculpture of a male gymnast doing parallel bars.  After much research and several drawings we settled on this pose of gymnast about to swing down and through the bars; we liked the feeling of suspense and energy just before the swing.   I then mounted the figure on two leaning hoops, to accentuate the momentum of the figure and I'm so happy with the result.
