This sculpture was inspired by my oldest daughter, called Freya: she is 4years old and loves visiting my studio.  On one visit she asked me to sculpt "one of us", so after talking it over, she decided she wanted one of her up in the air. So here she is! I feel the sculpture celebrates the joy that young children bring to our lives as well as the strength required to support them in their journey.
